Algo Fit helps you improve a draft on X (x.com / twitter.com) before you post. It scores the draft against publicly documented For You signal families using **your** TypeSafe.ai API key (Jev). Algo Fit does not claim an exact For You rank or guaranteed reach.

## Data we process

### On your device

- Preferences (placement, Auto-check, and related settings) stored in your browser via Chrome extension storage
- Your TypeSafe API key stored locally in this browser profile only

### Sent off your device (only when you act)

- **Draft text** (and limited in-extension context) to [https://api.typesafe.ai](https://api.typesafe.ai) when you click **Check** or **Improve**, or after a short pause if you enable Auto-check
- Optional **public** GitHub API requests to show the latest commit of the public xai-org/x-algorithm repository and/or Algo Fit version information — no GitHub account credentials

### We do not

- Collect your X password, cookies, or session tokens
- Auto-post, auto-reply, or control your X account
- Sell your data
- Operate a model-training pipeline on your drafts

## Third-party processing (TypeSafe)

Scoring and Improve use TypeSafe’s API with the key you paste. TypeSafe’s handling of that request is governed by TypeSafe’s own terms and privacy policy at [https://typesafe.ai](https://typesafe.ai). Review those before pasting a key.

## Permissions

- **storage** — save your TypeSafe key and preferences
- Access to x.com / twitter.com — read the composer text you are editing and show the coach UI
- Access to api.typesafe.ai — scoring and Improve
- Access to api.github.com — public version / algorithm pin only

## Limited Use

User data is used only to provide Algo Fit’s single purpose: pre-publish signal-fit coaching for drafts you choose to score. We do not sell user data or use it for unrelated advertising. We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

## Retention

Keys and preferences remain in your browser until you remove them or uninstall the extension. Draft text is transmitted for the scoring request; Algo Fit does not operate a separate cloud store of drafts in the current bring-your-own-key design.

## Children

Algo Fit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

## Changes

We will update this page when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Algo Fit after an update means you accept the revised policy.
